Overview

The Aberdeen Catholic School System (Roncalli) has been providing Catholic education in Aberdeen, SD for over 100 years. They offer PreK - 12th grade students a Catholic education.

After years of declining enrollment, the leadership team at the Aberdeen Catholic School System reached out to Tommy D Creative for marketing help. Several discovery meetings were held to discuss problems in their current marketing and enrollment strategies. An anonymous parent and staff survey was developed to get feedback on various school topics. The feedback from the survey was then presented and discussed with the leadership team.

A marketing plan was created from the shortcomings found in the discovery sessions and the survey responses. Special attention was focused on driving kindergarten awareness and enrollment numbers. A new website, print materials, photos and videos were created to drive recruitment of new families into the school system.

Roncalli has now seen multiple years of growth in their Kindergarten enrollment numbers. With recent class sizes being their largest in the last 20 years. Student retention numbers have gone up across all classes as well.
