Work Process
1. Discover
The first step in any project is discovering what problems you are trying to overcome. Sometimes this can be taken care of with a quick phone call and other times it may take multiple meetings to really figure out what needs to happen.
2. Plan
This is where we build the blueprint for your project. A proposal is created with a summary of what we found in the discovery process. Goals, deliverables, timelines and price are all clearly listed so there are no surprises and everyone is on the same page.
3. Build
With the plan in place, it's time to get to work! Design, editing, content creation and development all take place in this stage depending on your project needs. We will work back and forth to ensure that your project is perfect before delivery.
4. Deliver
Time to show off all of that hard work! In the final step, we hand over all of the files for your project. In the case of websites, this means launching the new site and providing training. I am always available for ongoing support as needed.
FAQ
Tommy D Creative has been able to help more than 100 businesses tell their story online and off. I have been in the design industry for more than a decade and Tommy D Creative has been helping clients for more than 5 years. When you team up with me, your business gains a partner that wants to see you succeed.
Besides Tommy D Creative, I run another business called Massenomics. Between these two business, I have gained a ton of experience and know what it takes to make an impact online, get more leads and convert them to paying customers.
There are a number of factors that can affect the time it takes to build a website. Most standard website are completed within 3-5 weeks of receiving content and the down payment.
This a lot like asking "how much does a house cost?". The answer is, it depends! Do you need a single landing page or a site with dozens of pages and a full CMS implementation? Do you want your pages to display static content or would you like to see advanced animations and interactions? Do you need help with copywriting and headlines or can we pull from existing marketing materials? These are just a few of the questions that will factor into the final price of the site.
The only ongoing costs are your annual domain registration and monthly hosting fee.
You absolutely can! I prefer to build websites in a program called Webflow which makes it SUPER easy for you to make updates to the content on your website. As long as you have an internet connection and know your password you can make changes.
Are you the hands-off type? No worries! I have monthly packages available where I can take care of all of your website updates for you.
Every website is 100% custom built to your business's exact needs and specifications. Your brand, your colors and your content are displayed front and center so you can tell effectively tell your story and convert leads into customers.
Many web designers rely on templates or "themes" to build websites. This limits the options to customize your website and can often result in a generic looking, poor performing site.
These are all popular website building tools that come with their own set of pros and cons. Usually, there is a tradeoff between ease of use, security, speed and customizability. After many years in the industry, I have found Webflow to have the best balance of features. Webflow sites can be built quicker, they're easier for you to use and you don't have to worry about expensive monthly maintenance and security bills.
If your website has special needs regarding specific plugins or ecommerce then we may need to look at a different platform but I have found Webflow to be a great fit for the majority of small businesses.
Totally! I also help clients with logos, print collateral, photo, video, social media, content development and general marketing needs. Take a look at my work to see some examples client projects.
Get in touch and tell me a little more about your project. We will schedule a discovery call and get the ball rolling!
